Initiative 594 just passed in Washington State, bringing on residents mandatory gun background checks and making it a felony to privately purchase or even hand a gun to a friend without government permission.
A story in the Seattle Times the morning after the mid-term elections, revealed the true motives of the I-594 campaign and its proponents. It didnt take long for the other shoe to drop and the rest of their anti-rights agenda to be exposed. Other states theyre now targeting with initiatives include Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and Maine.
Our rights are and always have been their real target, not criminals. Their goal is not gun responsibility or safety as they falsely claim. Using wordplay and semantics theyve attempted to hide these facts.

LOL Hardly. Never happen.
You are an informed voter. A great number are not. Was there any effort to reach the average voter? Was there an organized get out the vote effort?
I do not know, which is why I am asking.
this Progressive class sought to explain its differences from its neighbors in scientific terms.
Not confined to the Progressives (Progressive . . . a term Hillary uses to describe herself, since she and her ilk have so stunk up the term Liberal that she can no longer tolerate the stench).
Marx likewise sought to describe his misbegotten theories as scientific in an attempt to surround them with an aura of unearned respectability in a desperate bid to assert a nonexistent superiority over the ideas of our Founding Fathers.
We each do what we can to expose the wretched attempts to refute the immortal declaration that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these being Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness. Words first penned in 1776 by Thomas Jefferson, expressing the thoughts of a new breed of people ~ Americans.
The howls of protest, made by persons of an inferior status, have not ceased since, and now grow ever louder.
You bet, y'all.
Yep.
JCC didn't have to bother to read anything about black capacity and intelligence. All he had to do was observe his field hands. Live in the Deep South for a few years and most whitey’s from elsewhere begin to have serious doubts about the ‘created equal’ business. The latest one of these I encountered was a chemical engineer from Illinois who asked with a straight face “are these people really (blackamoors) as stupid and vicious as they appear ?” This fellow was quite black but had never spent any time in Dixie until his company moved him here.
This isn’t even a law, it’s an invalid decree which is completely unConstitutional for one’s ownership of goods. We don’t need gov’t permission to buy, barter, or trade what we own. They can get stuffed.
Billionaires like Bloomberg, Gates, and Ballmer have an endless pocketbook for themselves and their wives to plunder. ... after all, "it is only for the children" and these .1%'ers have absolutely no concept of the need for self-protection in "regular people's" homes.
Especially important to recognize in these public policy decisions is to put forward the interests of the vulnerable elderly and women who are trying to defend themselves from robberies, abusive situations, and home-invasions. Without a weapon, predators can easily attack those without protection. In England, thugs can attack vulnerable folks with impunity.
Jeepers... Thanks for the ping!
Should use this in ads against these people in the future/.
Oh, there was an organize GOTV, but it didn’t cover the gun issues or the school initiative. Our GOP is messed up by too many union supporters with mixed allegiance. One of our state representatives was an SEIU member. The only thing that they agree on is water issues and even those don’t include the district near the proposed coal terminal.
We actually had GOP members working WITH the storm water control advisory board, against the private property owners in the district around the coal terminal.
Thanks. That is what I thought.
No real GOTV devoted to the dueling Initiatives on the second amendment supporters side.
I used to do a lot of the GOTV calling and a big part of it would turn out to be people who hadn’t filled out their ballots because they didn’t know how to vote on the iniatives and down ballot slots.
The chairman of the party and her friends used to laugh at me for spending the time to help people.
