When a Republican is president, the Democrats pass laws all the time that they know perfectly well will be vetoed.
They do it to create a talking point, and score a PR victory.
Why can't our side do the same?
Lots of people who work have to take drug tests. Lots of people resent the fact that many of those on welfare spend all day getting high.
I think this is a great move by Governor Walker.
This is truly a great move, and I believe it demonstrates what we need in a leader in general: someone who isn't afraid to stand by his or her principles, damn the consequences.
We are seeing in Scott Walker what happens when a principled man tries to enact the ideas he promised he would: he's re-elected consistently and loved unconditionally.
We need more representatives and governors like Scott Walker, IMO.
