Islam needs to return to it’s roots. When Mohammed was in mecca he wrote the first part of the Koran which was peaceful. When he got kicked out he had few followers. When he got to Medina he started the doctrine of jihad and wrote the second part of the Koran... Chop out the Medina verses and you can live with them. True enough.

The Muslim scholars say if there seems to be a contradiction in the Koran go by the later versions.

This also allows the Muslims to deceive us naive Infidels by quoting the more peaceful sections of the Koran while they follow the more warlike later verses.

All doubt is removed in the Hadiths in which Muhammed sets the example of killing and how to deal with Infidel survivors. -Tom
