Saw some more photos and video on the Daily Mail website. What kind of inept police force engages in a firefight in the middle of a major city and then lets the mugs escape? If this was LA or NYC there would have been eyes in the sky tracking them from the moment the shooting started.
You would expect SWAT teams to be surrounding the place, roads to be blocked, snipers on buildings...
but no real back up at all....weird
I cannot speak for the French police and how they did/did not respond to the terrorists attack. I can say that such events take very few minutes to unfold, carry out and “close” as did the one in Paris. American police forces are possibly, better equipped to handle something like that, perhaps not. American police forces are becoming more like the military all the time but even the military takes time to react. It is a terrible event no matter what country is happened it. I do expect we will see this happening here in American, its only a matter of time.
