Time Magazine's Bruce Crumley, Time's Paris Bureau Chief in 2011 wrote this about Charlie Hebdo:
Okay, so can we finally stop with the idiotic, divisive, and destructive efforts by majority sections of Western nations to bait Muslim members with petulant, futile demonstrations that they arent going to tell us what can and cant be done in free societies? Because not only are such Islamophobic antics futile and childish, but they also openly beg for the very violent responses from extremists their authors claim to proudly defy in the name of common good. What common good is served by creating more division and anger, and by tempting belligerent reaction? The difficulty in answering that question is also whats making it hard to have much sympathy for the French satirical newspaper firebombed this morning, after it published another stupid and totally unnecessary edition mocking Islam.
(Crumley continued with his diatribe:)
We, by contrast, have another reaction to the firebombing: Sorry for your loss, Charlie, and theres no justification of such an illegitimate response to your current edition. But do you still think the price you paid for printing an offensive, shameful, and singularly humor-deficient parody on the logic of because we can was so worthwhile? If so, good luck with those charcoal drawings your pages will now be featuring.
Time magazine saying three years ago that they deserve these things for insulting the Prophet of Allah.
Wolf Blitzer made similar comments on CNN saying it is not surprising given what they publish.
The cartoon from Charlie Hebdo linked above in the Truth Revolt article says "Murder in Egypt". "Koran is Sh*t". And "That [pointing at the Koran book] cannot stop bullets".
Nothing like blaming the victims.
No statement about freedom of speech and ideas and living in a tolerant society
As if Time would have any objection to an edition mocking Jesus.
What is TIME magazine?
And to editors and writers who actually believe in such politically correct surrender, it is long past time to make THEM start worrying about walking past their house windows when the curtains are open.
“The rape victim got what she deserved, because she dressed provocatively”.
"Charlie Hebdo" ridiculed Catholics and Jews as much if not more than Muslims. Yet I don't remember Jesuits firebombing their offices or Orthodox rabbis shooting up their cartoonists. Shouldn't that be enough to convince anyone that the problem lies with Muslims and not with Charlie Hebdo?
“What common good is served by creating more division and anger, and by tempting belligerent reaction?”
It makes it less and less feasible for the head-in-the-sand crowd to pretend that we can co-exist with Muslims. The sooner people realize that attitude will get them killed, the sooner we can start doing what is necessary to fix the problem.
Charlie should have had an armed brigade around their office. That was their only mistake.
TIME and CNN are craven cowards and shills for violent radicals of all stripes. Glad I don’t give either my attention.
Does Time Magazine beg for a violent response when it runs articles, accompanied by front page headlines, like “Is God Dead” and “The End of Christianity in America”?
Headline of the Day Poll
Is Islam a “Religion of Peace”?
Yes.
I don’t know.
No.

Excellent point.
Wearing that skimpy, low-cut dress, she was just asking to get raped...
Or just showing her eyes and a little bit of ankle...

This commentary also points out the hypocrisy when compared to anti-Christian works.
Obama has been busy releasing terrorists. All terrorist attacks now belong to the Democrat Party.
islamism itself motivates liberals, progressives and RINOs.
We’re losing the War.
Obama is busy releasing terrorists. Obama is a Democrat. The Democrats voted Obama into office.....twice. Every terrorist act now belongs to the Democrat Party.
