On Wednesday’s broadcast of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC, HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher criticized the religion of Islam in the wake of the terrorist attack on the headquarters of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo that resulted in 12 dead. According to Maher, there is no deny the connection of Islam to the attack. “It’s not a presume – no, no it’s Muslim terrorists,” Maher said. “This happens way too frequently. It’s like it’s like Groundhog Day, except the groundhog kept getting his head cut off.

Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding,
is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors.

It suggests that the bonding is the individual’s response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they cease to be perceived as a threat.

I get my hands dirty by going to huff post (It's better to bash liberals rather than have conservative fights) and the lib reactions to this were: 1. It wasn't Moslems, 2. it was extremists, 3. only 10% of Moslems support this (forgetting that a. a recent Pew Poll showed that 15% of AMERICAN Moslems supported suicide bombing of civilians and that 10% of 1.2 billion is 120 million)

AND finally, when the above three arguments fail they say: 4. Well, ALL religions are like this

5. Christianity was like this 500 years ago, so Moslems are going through the same phase...
