Exactly. Most of these types were supply clerks at Long Binh, because, regardless of MOS, experienced NCO's recognized a nutter when they saw one and they were sent back to some cushy job in the rear. In later years, these same nutters claimed to have been traumatized by the experience. Nonsense.

This guy was no supply clerk. He was a 1st Lt. FO for an artillery unit and also infantry.
