Excellent question. This Israel attacking iran has been spiel often with a futuristic date every month or few has been going on for yrs if not decades. But i don’t think russia & china will sit idle should israel attack iran. It’ll start a war of significant global scale. U.S. in that case will be pulled into it too. Iran isn’t iraq.
Which really means this will likely not end well.
