The only people who go to jail are the people who TALK to the Police.
When the Cops show up, ask for a lawyer, then say nothing.
Your chance of a conviction just went down 80%.
Silly me. I always thought that juries, not police, convicted defendants and that in arriving at their decisions juries decided whether the weight of the evidence including statements to the police were credible or not.
I’ve seen the same shows and my advice would be different:
1. Don’t LIE to the cops.
2. Don’t RUN from the cops.
3. Don’t SWING on the cops.
Oh yeah, don’t wear sleeveless T shirts and live in a single-wide.
