I don't mind that he dropped out of college. I don't insist that my President be an Ivy Leaguer. There are a million plausible explanations that could actually resonate with plenty of voters.

However, there are about a third of the population that might raise their eyebrows a bit (those with college degrees), so Walker needs a reasonable explanation for not having one. Not some long, contrived sob story, but a reasonable explanation. This needs to be done early. And then he needs to move on to bigger and better issues.

An Ivy League indoctrination is a negative to me based on the performance of Ivy League educated presidents in the past few decades.

For my part, the lack of a degree is a big positive. I look at his accomplishments without this piece of paper, then I look at the mess the Ivy league has gotten us in, and it is no contest.

Give me common sense any day. A simple understanding of the Constitution, without penumbras, whatever that means, is all that is needed.
