“There is something innately regal about Chelsea—a kind of grace that doesn’t seem practiced, or trotted out just for public consumption. She’s a person of substance for sure, a young woman who, while measured in her manner, has a fierceness of conviction, and a calling to make the world a better place.”

Doesn't this create the impression that the people who write for Elle - not to mention their readers - are fundamentally stupid?

I grew up in an area where there was a large Filipino population.

The TV programs used to go on and on about how wonderful Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos were—they were perfect, they were talented, they were beautiful, on and on and on.

The media were sycophants on steroids. It was really pretty nauseating.

This is what the mainstream media in America remind me of now. All they do is kiss up to the leftist figureheads, no matter how repulsive they are.
