It's been 4 days since the SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling. Where is Trump? [Vanity]
Posted on 06/30/2015 3:48:21 PM PDT by SoConPubbie
So, the Supreme Court ruled/legislated from bench, unconstitutionally, on June 26th. Here it is June 30th, and Donald Trump, the man known for speaking his mind, most of the time in a politically incorrect manner, has been silent on this ruling.
4 days!
Ostensibly, he wants to be President of the United States. He has also stated he believes in traditional marriage, and weakly stated that gay marriage, "wasn't his thing".
Since the oath of office for POTUS includes the following:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
When are we going to hear from "The Donald" how he will fight against this unconstitutional ruling by SCOTUS; this unconstitutional legislative action by SCOTUS? Or is he another one of those cowards that state that the since the Supreme Court has ruled on this matter, it is the rule of law?
Time to come out from under the bed on this issue Donald!
If he truly wants to be the Leader of the Free World and if he truly wants to gain the votes of conservative voters to gain that position through the GOP he needs to lead on this issue. It is extremely important to conservatives.
Mr. Trump, Man-up and lead on all issues near and dear to conservatives, or just go away.

Trump is speaking out on illegal aliens and border security, which is more important.

Trump may be a serious candidate, but he is not a serious person. He thinks that money, the economy, business, etc., are the issues for “grownups.” He is pro-abortion and pro-gay-marriage. The little old ladies in tennis shoes just need to grow up.

Mexico wont be sending a contestant to Trumps, beauty contest. Thats a start.
Now, can they do the same with the millions of people coming in that Trump was talking about.

He isn’t speaking out against gay marriage, because he is for gay marriage.
And when the “rights” of homosexuals consume the rights of the religious, perhaps you will think it is important then.

I have read this same rant fromSoConPubbie on every Trump thread. It seems to be an obsession. Single issue person? Troll? Shill for another candidate? Don’t know, but my guess I am not the only one that has noticed and am bored with it. And no, I am not a Trump supporter, but I’m glad he’s out there kicking butt and taking the heat off of Cruz and other major candidates.

He’s been busy making foreign network executive’s phone numbers public and keeping NBC people off his golf course.

I already saw Trump on TV when asked about gay marriage, that he is for traditional marriage between man and woman.
Stop denigrating other candidates, unless you have nothing good to say about your own candidates. Your candidates will not benefit by your attacks on other candidates.

Looks like he’s busy fighting Commies, exposing our open borders and the crime that brings, at the moment.

Single issue person?
Naw, Not hardly. I have the following three policy positions that are litmus tests for the candidate I support, I advocate for, and ultimately, vote for:
1. Pro-Life
2. Anti-Amnesty
3. Anti-Homosexual Agenda, including Gay Marriage.
So far, Trump is failing on number 3.

Well, what has Trump said on gay marriage since it became the “law” of the land?
If he believes in traditional marriage, what is his plan to deal with a rogue SCOTUS?
What is his plan to protect the actual rights of religious people who object to such weddings?
Does he have any plans at all on this, or is he just going to play around with his UNIVISION lawsuit?

These posters who are obsessed in attacking other candidates are under the delusion that it will attract other posters to their candidate which I assume is Ted Cruz. The effect is just the opposite. If Ted Cruz supporters are obsessed on attacking others, what does it say about Ted Cruz? I hope he is nothing like these posters.

Not a shill, but I am advocating for a better POTUS candidate than Donald Trump:
CRUZ or LOSE!
