Conservatives took to social media to blast NBC for a perceived double standard in cutting ties with Donald Trump Monday for his comments about Mexican immigrants while keeping Al Sharpton despite the pastor-turned-MSNBC host’s numerous controversial remarks over the years.

I believe they hired Al on a whim (to boosts ratings?), now they can’t fire him for fear of being called racists.
They have fired others for less. But they weren't black "civil rights revrunts".
Sharpton's definitely damaged the network and tanked its ratings. But they're stuck with him. :-)
I believe others there (Matthews, Maddow and O'Donnell) while moronic hacks, have to be embarrassed to share a stage with the likes of Sharpton who is one of the biggest jokes on television.

Comcast/NBC has spent years toadying up to King Barry by providing him with a 24 hour promotional outlet in MSNBC, only for Barry to not provide them with the expected Comcast/Time Warner merger approval. One would think that they would take off the kneepads, but they can’t help themselves. Hopefully consumers will continue to turn them off.

NBC is owned by Comcast, which is in the tank for Obama and the Dims like GE is.
I am glad Donald Trump is suing them. I hope he gets a lot of their, and Univision’s, money.

Not only is Trump going to make Mexico pay for the Wall, he is going to make Univision pay for his campaign.
The others are looking more pale by the day.
Trump's counterattack about Brian Williams, this, and Ted Cruz' support of what Trump said, plus the lawsuit against Univision for breach of contract has a lot of chestnuts roasting on an open fire in the media's smoke-filled rooms.
