Ding Ding Ding we have a winner!

1) Trump plays well to the PISSED OFF AMERICAN vote, just like Ross Perot did.

2) He sucks off enough support from serious potential reformers like Cruz, Paul, and Rubio that Jeb Bush wins the nomination.

3) Trump doesn't go quietly, and then switches to run as an independant.

4) Angry Republicans vote for Trump. Establishment republicans vote for Bush.

5) With the opposition vote split, Hillary Clinton wins in a landslide.

Trump has donated to the Clintons for years. He's one of their biggest supporters. You can see this train wreck coming for miles.

Ummmm... that bullet point # 3 of yours... as far as I can see, there are as many Democrats who are pissed off ever the open borders/illegal alien Mexicans taking jobs from low skilled Americans(mostly blacks) as Republicans. In the very unlikely event that Trump.runs as a 3rd party candidate, he is as likely to take votes from Democrats as Republicans. I live in true blue New York and a lot of my friends that are Democrats agree with Trump especially on American jobs being taken by Mexico.

First of all I would rather have Trump than Bush...

Second, rather than split the vote why don’t you just vote for Trump over Bush?

Trump has got to be better than Clinton or Bush...

Cruse would probably make a better president, but it’s doubtful that he can overtake Bush, and he also is going to have a problem with low information voters (the ones who are going to elect the next president, BTW).

Whether planted or willfully sacrificial, Perot repeatedly shot himself in the foot when his popularity would take off...crazy daughter/wedding scenarios, etc.

Trump, IMO, is a walking Strawman and a Clintonista.
