That is a weird thing for a 69 year old man who has been trying to run for office for 16 years, and never won an election, to say to his Governor.

First of all, Pataki isn’t his Governor. Second of all, it’s true.

"Oh, I see, you can’t read. I posted that those presidents had never PREVIOUSLY won an election, as in Trump has never won an election."

Didn't you read post 57 to you?

"As far as George Washington, as you dare compare this real estate/TV personality huckster with Washington and the other great men of American history.

Washington was a lifelong politician, who lost his first election in 1755, but was elected in 1757, and he held elective office for about 25 years, spread out over 42 years of his life."

Trump has backbone. I’m liking him more and more.

Well you go ahead and continue ansel12.

Btw, you should probably give a bit more time to whoever you might be supporting. The career politician campaign threads need more hits. Most seem to be as popular as cassette tapes. Good luck.

You are right about Washington. I had a pretty girl sitting next to me in American history. I am not gong to look up any others because of bandages.

Don’t feel bad about Washington, a lot of people don’t realize that he spent so many years running for office and winning elections, and serving in elective office.

They think he was a general, then a president.

"Trump seems to be the most wishy washy, politician that we have ever seen, he just morphs into whatever positions and even parties, that he wants to at the time."

Well first off, Trump is not a politician.
Second: Let him morph. I don't care. At least he's morphing into the correct political shape, anti illegal immigration, pro American in trade policies, building a wall on the southern border, etc.. I think it's better than the deceitful, treacherous behavior that the current Republican party leadership has morphed into. ( Ever wonder why they cave to Obama so easily? Another story in itself. Too long to tell here.)

Well first off, Trump is not a politician.

That is a strange thing to say about someone advancing on his presidential campaign, a campaign that he has been trying to get off the ground since the 1990s.

As far as Obama, Hillary, Al Gore, and John Kerry, that was Trump's party during those years, and Bill Clinton is his favorite president.

Remember that Trump is the guy who wanted Charlie Rangel in his cabinet, McCain for his Secretary of defense, and he wanted Oprah Winfrey as his veep, both for 2000, and for 2015.

he wanted Oprah Winfrey as his veep

The other day some reporter asked him what woman he wanted on the new $10 he said smiling "my mother".

Which is irrelevant since he is trying to overcome and diffuse his Oprah mistake, Trump wanted Oprah for 16 years, he wanted her and Charlie Rangel and John McCain in 1999, and still wanted Oprah in 2015, until he realized how the public reacted to it.

"I’m sure Lindsey Graham is re-tweeting Pataki right now."

Is that what they call it these days?

I think the point could me made that most corporate political backers and special interest groups grease the wheels in much the same way. Morally wrong ‘YES’, sadly it’s the way things get done in this corrupt world! Politicians, many are just shake down artists at the point of the tax code.

They do. And it’s how the world works.

Thus the need to change that.
