Win or lose, Trump has rocked conservatism, the GOP, and probably the democrats too. He's showed them salesmanship, how to deal with the Politically Correct BS and especially the media.
Trump has the media working for him, and they don't even like him.

Another thing that is really important is that maybe he has encouraged other titans of private enterprise to donate their time and expertise to public service.
As it is we have mostly mediocre talent running the country.
