Just saw this thread.

Want to note here that Zoroastrians also wear a headscarf (women) and a cap or similar when they attend religious ceremonies ONLY, usually in white or green color. It is traditional, nowadays not essential but recommended.

BLACK is the color of Islam. Chador (an all body covering veil worn by some muslim women in public at all times in Iran for example) is literally translated as “tent”. So, wearing a black “Chador” (black “tent”) is an ARAB-ISLAMIC tradition.
