He’s young. He’ll be around for at least 12 more years.

Walker and most of the other GOP candidates need to learn from Trump - grow a pair and boldly speak for and defend the conservative views that your constituents believe in. Spend your time trying to appease the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the GOP establishment, and lose.

Trump and Carson killed the poor fellow. He had an impressive resume but for some reason went squish as a POTUS candidate.

Tim Pawlenty 2.0

It's too bad, because Walker always has been in my top two or three.

I hope he throws his support to my top choice, Cruz. (Rubio could be OK also.)

Several months ago I thought he was the best candidate given how he beat the liberal establishment in Wisconsin.

Kind of a shame, although it didn’t seem he was quite prepared for the intensity of national politics.

I respect and admire what he did with the unions in Wisconsin, wish him the best.

nYT WITH THE SCOOP

When the NYT has access to the inner circle of your campaign, via multiple sources, yeah, it's time to hang it up.

It’s just too bad we’ll never know the degree to which Walker was so damaged by that “$2.2 billion dollar deficit” BS from Trump. I’d rather the guy lost on his own merits and failings, for example, his waffling over illegal immigration.

Next, Jindal? Huck?

I like both of those guys, they're in my top five, but I don't think either can win the nomination.

Tragic. Especially with all the eGOP scattering candidates in the race, designed to help Bush win pluralities (where he can't win majorities) in Winner-Take-All primary contests.

If Walker is pulling out because of his poll numbers, then why are Gilmore, Graham, etc., in the race at all?

I like him, but he was about as exciting as plain cooked pasta.

They can't....their you-know-whats are held in a lock box....by the Cheap Labor Express and Lobbyists.

Trump is the ONLY candidate NOT owned by the above. That's why he still has his you-know-whats/guts.

George Will (and some on this site) were bragging that his internals showed him leading. That was about a week ago.

Just another instance where Will the beltway boys are FOS.

I don't think that will be much of an issue, the lack of supporters is why he's pulling out.

“Accomplishment alone doesn’t get it done anymore. Voters like charisma.”

Or “narrative” in the case of Hillary. She has neither accomplishments nor charisma.
