Oh boy. Things just got a lot more interesting in the Middle East.
Wonder if this will lead Russia to rethink its incipient strategic relationship with Israel, and instead start backing Syria in force in any attempt to recover Golan from Israel?

How awesome is that? And they thought they were the only place in the middle east without oil lol!

Wait, natural gas offshore from Israel and now Oil in the Golan?
Didn't LEFT-wing governments want to hand back the Golan in exchange for peace with the Syrians?
Had they done that, ISIS would be swimming in the Sea of Galilee by now.
The Bible says that the Hebrews will avail themselves of “things beneath the sand”...some claim it might have been a type of silica but maybe there are lots of resources just waiting for Israeli ingenuity to tap into.
Arab slime: Keep killing yourselves...

Time to decide if Syria is a province of Israel or the other way around. Saddam invaded Kuwait for much less.

There is going to be a international political fight over this, Israel better establish a fund for Syria’s refugees if they want to drill this.

Israel better establish a fund for Syrias refugees if they want to drill this.
As long as the fund is used to pay for transportation costs to move the refugees to Saudi Arabia, I’m all for it.

I was thinking to pay to move them back to Syria and recover their lives there.

The hook-in-jaw prophecy of Gog comes to mind here.
Note the vast gas reserves Israel has laid claim to as well.

...check how easily it can be extracted and whether it involves high production costs. In a period of very low oil prices, extraction will have to be relatively cheap to make exploitation of the field profitable.
The real question is above

Don’t forget that they are now water-independent as well through their desalinization efforts. Israel is truly blessed of God, despite BO’s & VJ’s efforts...
To: Wiz-Nerd
Just because there is oil in rock does not make a producing field as yet.
Most oil in world is not producible, so let’s see how this stacks up prior to celebrating.
Needs the right saturation, depth, porosity, and many other factors.
