Here on FreeRepublic we think in politically partisan terms, and we see everything in terms of Democrat vs. Republican, liberal vs. conservative, and even corrupt vs. honest in an abstract sense. But government runs entirely differently. We see a U.S. Secretary of State using a private e-mail server to facilitate huge favors for donors who contribute enormous sums of money to her family's foundation, and we recognize it as evidence of criminality and corruption.
The people and corporate interests behind the scenes who actually run this country see something like that, and they recognize it as an unprincipled political hack and fifth-rate mediocrity who will do anything she's paid to do.
This is why if the 2016 presidential election came down to a contest between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, you can be sure that a lot of Beltway Republicans will be supporting Clinton.
Exactly.. Hillary will never face justice for this. In America, the Clintons are immune from the laws that govern the rest of us. They act with absolute impunity.
