Ya know, the conundrum discussed in this article is nothing new. You want to see an orderly black community in an inner city neighbourhood? Farakhan has always had that on lock down.
To observe that, in spite of his lunacy, his communities are orderly, is not the same as endorsing his orthodoxy.
This story is hardly news. And it really points to the fact that Black communities tend to be very conservative — in spite of their voting habits.
This is problematic.
Please...Show any black community that has received and responded, in any orderly manner, fashion or acclaim to uplifted community- by ANY WORKS OF LOUIS FARRAKHAN. Please, let us these great contributions. Name it specifically- just one, unless you have more- please give us a resplendent view of Louie’s masterful accomplishments. Thanks.
You are really being obtuse. Im echoing what Williams (a good conservative btw) points out because Ive seen it.
Im 45. Ive been a member of FR since 1999 (it seems there only about 20 of us old timers left, sadly) Ive been all over the world and all over the states. Ive witnessed what Farrakhan has accomplished for his communities. His racism hardly precludes his efficacy when it comes to uniting his community and getting them to respect themselves.
Go to Chicago and see for yourself. I saw it. I also have met his brainwashed youth. They may be misguided, BUT THEY HAVE THEIR SHIT TOGETHER!
All Hail- Master Louis Farrakan.
You are ...a knee-jerk idiot. Another thoughtless dolt who contributes to the demise of this once-great forum.
It’s really sad to see. We used to have some incredibly insightful dialogue around here and were at times highly influential as a group. But thanks to foolish children like yourself, most of the thinkers have abandoned the ship.
Guys like you make this forum no better than Democratic Underground.
Jesus...another obtuse dumbass who misses the entire point of Armstrong Williams’ article (and my point in support of him) and just goes into knee-jerk mode.
Sure, you bet Fernet. Louis Farrakan is big time, with a lot of past posters. Yet, as intellectual as you are, you still haven’t answer the specific question, with specific answer. Just so you know- emotional blather is not an answer- even in the olden days.
Wow, brave use of God’s name in vain. Farrakhan and Wright would be proud.
Williams is out of his mind and deserves rebuke. NOI is a demon worshipping racist cult. It’s mindless hoards make twice as many hell-bound young black men and woman than drugs and gangs ever could.
Yikes!! First Al Notso Sharpton and now Kalypso Louie???
Well, bye, doc!
Who knew? Apparently, someone did. Thus, this facebook- backed poll, on Dr.Carson’s big leap on Mr.Trump. Wonder who specialized this and a couple of other polls in Ohio?
Then answer Red’s question, “old timer” with a 2013 sign up date.
Go ahead...Show any black community that has received and responded, in any orderly manner, fashion or acclaim to uplifted community- by ANY WORKS OF LOUIS FARRAKHAN. Please, let us these great contributions. Name it specifically- just one, unless you have more.
I cannot you believe you have the nerve to promote ANY aspect about that ghoul, on this forum.
Don't know how relevant this is, but Carson has had my "spidey senses" pinging for a while now.
Now for a short public service announcement:
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Immediately following Awad’s comments, Carson's business manager, Armstrong Williams, told CNN that Carson was not trying to “hurt or offend” but came to his conclusion about Islam “because of his love for America.”
“What an individual believes impacts how America is governed and what we become as a nation,” Williams said, adding that Carson is not alone in his view of Islam.
In fact, according to a Gallup survey published in June, 38% of Americans polled said they would not support a Muslim candidate for president, while 60% said they would.
Aside: That 60% is scary.
