I'm surprised by Armstrong Williams. I haven't seen any discussion on this information here.

Armstrong Williams...
This doesn’t fit my image of Mr. Williams at all.
Has something happened to him?
This seems like a 180 to me.
If Carson buys off on this, bye bye...
He’ll be at 2% in a week.

Throw this on to the pile of other reports that indicate Carson should not go anywhere near the office of POTUS.

It's interesting that one of Carson's perceived weaknesses is he's a dilettante, and that the rejoinder is “he'll appoint good people.” It seems this isn't the first idiotic statement by one of his employees.

Didn’t this guy used to be a substitute host on major conservative talk shows?

I have a friend who knew Armstrong Williams in college. Armstrong is well known for running his mouth. I think it came out wrong. I cannot believe Armstrong is actually for funding Farrakhan. Would have to see it in context.

For those who already know who and what Farrakhan is, this will be a dealbreaker. I was never going to vote for him.

Armstrong bought the black-power koolaid years ago. Pretty sad and pathetic.

It’s the “Colin Powell” syndrome: no matter how post-racial the black candidate strives to appear, it eventually comes down to “the brothas” vs. “the people” and “the brothas” will always win. ALWAYS.
It’s always tough for one of the “13%” to impartially govern the “87%”. And not just in the U.S., and not just black and white. Shia/Sunni, Hutu/Tutsi, Afrikaner/Coloured in South Africa, etc. etc. throughout history. And we’re nearly done with the Obama vs. America lesson. Why would we want to repeat it?

This po’ white boy was at the 1995 Million Man March in DC. Only thing missing was a “Million Men”. Maybe 50,000 including a few of us curious George honkies.
Farraklan talked about the “mother ship” (UFO) circling above earth but that was about all I could hear from his incoherent ramblings.
Re the Nation of Islam as community guards. Interesting in theory, piss poor in practice. They got thrown out of DC for beating the shit out of some street characters.
The NOI, esp. its “Fruit of Islam” bodyguard troops for Louie, are a potentially real terrorist threat to the US. No one knows how dedicated they are but if they are anything like the Rev. Jim Jones (Marxist) leader of the forced Kool-Aid drinkers of Jones Town, Guyana and his stormtroopers, then “Houston, we have one big f*cking problem”.

Islam sends more young black men and woman to hell than drugs or gangs ever could. It is a soul deadening mental and spiritual illness that, just as rabies in a dog, reduces its host to a raging animal that is good for nothing but to be captured and destroyed...
"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome." - Winston Churchill

The real problem with Carson is the fact that as president he will need a lot of help and the people he chooses to help him will determine his presidency.
