Kitchen next to bathroom, reminds me, my life in Singapore. Not hygienic.
It’s better than a station wagon or a bunch of boxes.
Kind of like the Seinfeld episode where Kramer installs a garbage disposal in his shower so he can do dishes and get clean at the same time.
In my apartment, the hall bath is right across the hall from the kitchen and in the townhouse I lived in, it was right next to the kitchen.

I saw a Mythbusters episode where they tested how far e-coli bacteria traveled after a toilet flush and it was nasty. E-coli was found everywhere within a large radius, including on toothbrushes on the sink with a wall and door separating the commode.
