i think it is strange that ISIS were video recording the plane. Why? unless they knew something was going to happen to it.
or maybe they have some geeky ISIS members who plane watch at 31,000 feet inbetween the beheading videos they release.
i can see they might be watching for jets but filming a plane..seems strange to me at least.
If ISIS has figured out a way to smuggle covert bombs onto an airplane, we’ll start seeing a lot more of these. Then we’ll know.
AQ has been trying for 20 years to come up with binary explosives/incendiaries that can be smuggled aboard a plane. That’s why we can only bring tiny shampoo bottles aboard in our carry-ons. One idea that was tried was to combine two chemicals disguised as shampoo etc while in the bathroom. One jihadist brings on A, the other B, and they are mixed in the rest room, causing a massive fire or explosion.
They might have perfected a technique like that.
Given where the plane’s demise occurred, I’ll be interested to see what the Israelis have to contribute. Surely they had radar or other types of surveillance over that airspace.

The higher the altitude, the larger, more complex, and greater the need for trained operators of SAM weapons. So the critical question is how high up were they when the plane went oops?
A far more likely scenario is that somebody smuggled a bomb on board.
Bet it was shot down by the stingers that Hillary provided to Libyan rebels and she was trying to get ambassador Stephens to return.
