RIP
Loved him in “Big”....
Great actor. One of my favorite performances of his was as the old salty sea captain in the John Cusack comedy “Hot Pursuit”.

He served in the Army in real life. RIP.
RIP, Sir.
He also voiced the character of Admiral Petrarch in one of the best space combat videogames ever made: Freespace 2.
It’s available on GOG and Steam.
Hello! I could not have stated it more perfectly, thanks!
Oh,man——that makes me want to watch the entire series again.
Thanks for the post.
.
I’d always hoped “T.H.E. Cat” would make it to dvd, but it never has. Too short a run, and not remembered well enough, I suppose. Plus, the prints have probably never been re-mastered, and that would cost a pretty penny to do so.
Saw Loggia at a film convention not too many years ago. He had a little stack of photos from Elfego Bacca, which he was signing for people. I’m not too big on autographs, but I went ahead and got one from him.
Oh, yeah...Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat...great show. 26 episodes is plenty for a DVD...who knows?
A man’s man.
Provided wisdom, including: “Don’t get high on your own supply,”
Italian.
And...he attended Ronald Reagan’s funeral.
You are loved and you are missed. RIP, psisano.

Liked him in “Jagged Edge”.
Quite a career.
I also remember him in the Elfago Baca series on the Disney
shows. About the same time they made the Texas John Slaughter series. What great TV back in the late 50s early 60s.
Thanks.
Great actor.
“Manolo, choot dat pizza chip”- just watched that today no knowing he had passed. Rip.
