No kidding. The population is now +100 million over 1980 ( and coincidentally approximately 95 million are out of the workforce, hmmmm, replacements ). That is why running a (C) today is not the same thing as back then. Many of them cannot speak English let alone recognize the Constitution.

The problem is that we still have people that project magical powers onto the Office of the President, as if it is a magic bullet. Yeah we are screwed. It will take a string of Constitutional Amendments to lock down the FedGov monster. But there is future and current threats, and today it is the Invasion/Immigration/Naturalization as well as Supreme Court on the line. Our kids and Grandkids need to be trained properly to follow up later. And theirs as well.
