Exactly! Cruz was supposed to be above the fray. He managed to maintain that persona until now. Now he’s brought himself down to the level of any Joe Blow politician. (With apologies to Joe Blows everywhere)
What strike me most about Beck’s involvement is that those supporters of Senator Cruz, who consistently demonstrate the most caustic attacks on Trump, are quite fond of stating that DJT is a “carnival barker” ... Talk about the irony of poetic justice!
