Why shouldn’t whites have some privilege in the society they created? Japanese should have Japanese privilege in Japan, Moroccans should have Moroccan privilege in Morocco, whites should have white privilege wherever whites prevail, and if Haitians can ever demonstrate that they are cabable of creating and maintaining anything remotely resembling a civilized, productive society, then they ought to have Haitian privilege there.
As things are in America, there is in fact both black privilege(affirmative action and protected status, etc) and white privilege of varying types.
Whites ought to stop denying privilege and instead openly seeking to maximize, solidify, and exploit what privilege some of us still might have.

in fact, the only recognizable privileges in society such as easier admission to college and special laws to compensate you if you are fired, belong to racial minorities.

Given the relative accomplishments by whites compared to other demographics over the last 2000 years or so I would say a little “white privilege” would not be out of line.
Talking about white privilege is just a way to excuse self-destructive behavior by non-Whites.
1) You admit you have it, thereby confessing yourself to be a beneficiary of unearned freedoms;
2) You deny you have it, which is a symptom of the very thing of which you're accused, thereby proving that you are guilty.
So, in other words, there is only ONE outcome: you are guilty. There is no other option.
White privilege also suffers from a philosophical weakness called reficiation, a marxist construct that invents concepts then makes those abstractions into concrete existences.
The bottom line is that there is no such thing as white privilege. It is a concept so loosely and abstractly defined as to defy rebuttal, and its very rebuttal argues in its favor.
There is, however, a demonstrable phenomenon known as Black Privilege. See "OJ Simpson."
I was mugged over 30 years ago in downtown L.A. by 2 black guys who told me, among other B.S., that “we don’t care if we kill you ‘cause you white.”
