The Donald Trump juggernaut rolls to a 2-1 lead among Republican voters nationwide, with 39 percent, his highest total so far, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida with 19 percent and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas with 18 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today. Ohio Gov. John Kasich has 6 percent with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Dr. Ben Carson at 4 percent each. Nine percent are undecided.

This compares to the results of a February 5 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University, showing Trump with 31 percent, Cruz with 22 percent and Rubio with 19 percent.

are you kidding? i am on here so much i should have my mail sent here :)

guys, i love what trump says, but you want to live in a country that doesn’t exist anymore

blacks, hispanics, lgbt, whites under 30, single women under 50.

we can win this thing but lets not count on dem converts. i know a lot of dems and dont know one convert.

independents are the key.

and staying off of twitter!!!

we can win by 2 or 3 points, i’m pretty sure. but it’s gonna be a hard one.

I have been keeping a running average of four major polls since September, each week or two.

This time I have added the actual Primary votes in because those are the ones that count. So what you have is the average numbers between the four latest major polls and the two actual votes to date, IA and NH. I will add the other primaries in as they come.

This is what that average produces this wee as of today, Wednesday, February 17, 2016:

A little erosion overall for Trump, but he is still maintaining a significant lead. Rubio is climbing...as is Kasich. Carson has fallen way off, Bush remains down low.

“Why Can’t ANYBODY face that ted does better against hillary than trump? fox, quinippac, nbc etc.

cruz wins by 1 donald loses by 3.”

We were told over and over that only Bush could beat Carter. Reagan had NO chance according to the polls. To vote for Reagan in the primary was to vote for Carter.

To be honest, I think that if Bernie has a chance to beat Hillary, anyone on the GOP (except Bush) can beat Hillary.

Bernie polling even with her is NOT a testament to his strength, contrary to what the pundits seem to think, it’s a testament to her weakness.

People are just sick of Bush’s and Clintons.

Is the “Very Conservative Group” unconcerned about Cruz’s willingness to increase work visas 500% and retain illegals and buy into the same type of destructive trade deals as NAFTA? All of those positions hurt Cruz’s middle class fellow Americans. He is so pro-life, but how are his middle class parents going to support and educate and feed those children?

He does not make sense. Neither do the pro-Cruz Freepers. Think about the shrinking, suffering middle class.

I’m not apologizing for my statement, your summation that Trump supporters will just sit and not Vote if Cruz is the nominee is completely wrong. As for your term FRumpers, it was clever; however, I don’t really care for such terms on either side.
