The only one that's not going to cut is me.

Yeah, we know. And he calls himself a conservative.

Read his 2011 book “Time To Get Tough”. You’ll find the reforms he wants to do in there. Basically, he thinks the system is so full of redundancies and waste, fraud, abuse, that he feels he can make the system sustainable without cutting SS/Medicare.

Trump’s idea of waste and fraud ... might be a little different than you Trump people think.

Just warning you.

Why is cutting Social Security, something I have paid into all of my working life, a “conservative value?”

Are you saying that the government stealing MY money then when it comes time to collect the government says “Sorry - we lied” is something I should vote for? Are you nuts?

Ryan is a GOPe hack who couldn’t out debate Crazy Joe Biden. And then Ryan voted to give the Obama budget EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING HE WANTED. To hell with Paul Ryan.

Crazt Uncle Joe beat Ryan in their debate. They should have picked Gingrich for Speaker, not Ryan.

Trump telling the truth again.

Go Trump Go

Cruz thinks that also but Cruz has specific plans for agencies he will cut, for a tax plan, for strengthening the military.

And Cruz would actually do it.

But, never mind, Trump will give you a raise and a puppy.

He is going to cut unnecessary waste and fraud. There will be no more throwing around and wasting billions and billions of dollars with nothing to show for it and no accountability.

And to that I say, pull the other leg, It's got bells on it.

There isn't a candidate out there that hasn't promised to cut waste, fraud, and abuse. All Trump is saying is that he's no different.

I think you’re right about that. They’re terrified of these problems being fixed. They’re also terrified of them being fixed by something that actually works, but might not have an ideological stamp of approval that says ‘Conservative’ on it.

It took over 100 years of deviating from the founders and the constitution to get here and these people want to go from the mess we’re in to immediate ideological purity. It simply isn’t a possibility.

Trump is a stepping stone to get there, but these people are afraid of taking that step.

Oh, I don't know...how about building a wall, securing our borders, deporting illegal immigrants, keeping out the ones with criminal records, doing away with PC garbage in gov, ending common core, protecting 2nd amendment, taking care of Vets, fixing anti-American trade deals, setting in motion improvements to the economy to bring jobs back...that's for starters.

No you need to bow to the conservative kingmakers like Uncle Levin, Hugh Hewitt, Limbaugh and the rest of the conservative intellegencia. You need to tow the line, be a purist, parrot every conservative meme, say you support its everyone's right to carry a full automatic machine gun and live hand grenades, that you will get rid of SS on day one, throw all the bums off welfare. You know all the fodder for the angry talk show crowd, the pie in the sky in your dreams stuff. Some of you purists need to lower expectations and like Washington at Trenton, preserve your troops, accept less than complete victory and live to fight another day. Or..dig your heels in, nominate Cruz, take a 10 point shellacking ion the general and complain for 8 more years about how America is going in the crapper. Trump is my 80% candidate, 80% good and 20% lousy. Pareto Principle I can live with.

And we're all convinced that Trump couldn't fix them if his life depended on it. Don't forget that part.

Go Trump. 9/11 was Bush’s fault. Saddam Hussein is the bees-knees. Big government entitlements will be cut by Republicans. Can’t wait to vote for this.

Social Security should not be touched (except to give people the option to opt-out and collect a refund)

SND they should pay back the money into the system

Ryan was one of the few willing to take on Obozo in the run-up to Obozocare. Then later when he became the VP candidate he was too timid, Mr Nice Guy, similar to Romney. And now that he’s the speaker he doesn’t seem to representing the interests of the voters who gave the GOP the leadership.

People have been paying into SS their whole working lives. No choice in the matter. It needs to be protected so people get what they were promised when the money was taken from them all their working lives.

“Here Trump is again continuing the myth that Social Security or Medicare are sustainable.’

There’s more of that CRUZ imagination! NO, Trump never hinted at such. He said the corruption and waste has to be taken out first.

Disability Racket: $25B in fraudulent disability filings. (Dec 2011)
Pay off debt; put $3T interest savings into Trust Fund. (Jul 2000)
Let people invest their own retirement funds. (Jul 2000)
No government investment of retirement funds. (Jul 2000)
I’ll give up my Social Security; leave it to each person. (Sep 2015)

“Nominating Romney, who was the original author of Obamacare, was the end of the 2012 campaign.”

Yep. It will be the end at a brokered convention too. That dog won’t hunt, then, now, or ever.

No, it hasn't.

What was approved was a wall for only 700 miles, most of which has been built to at least some degree. Trump would need not only to get legislation approved to make it 40 feet high and cover the rest of the border, but he's also need for Congress to appropriate money to complete the initial 700 miles, but for the entire length of the rest of the border, and 40 feet high.
