Wasn't Ronald Reagan a reformed democrat?

Ronald Reagan spent the better part of 40 to 50 years as a Conservative Republican.

He did not jump around from D to R to I to D to R to I to D.

“Maybe you’re too young to remember when there were crossover votes. I am not.”

First election was 1980. Was stationed at Ellsworth. Voted Reagan. I also remember a Democrat named Zell Miller who was beloved on this site for being a Conservative even though he was a Democrat. There were other Democrats like Zell, I think the latest was Casey from PA who was a Pro-life Dem Governor.

Trump is no Reagan. Reagan would be embarrassed to listen to Trump’s rhetoric. Trump’s message is spot on, but he is burning every bridge in the process. I am not a fan of scorched earth, but I guess we will see where that takes us.

Has anyone thought of who will be Trump’s VP? We know it won’t be Cruz or Carson. Could be Rubio or could very well be Bush or Kasich. Question is, was it worth destroying Cruz in order to gain an establishment VP?

Wasn’t Ronald Reagan a reformed democrat?

and Christie is a politician
Trump is a businessman.

Why do so many credit politicians with being smarter than people that have to succeed to survive?
Politicians are our employees.
When they fail ..... they raise our taxes.

Hmmmmmm, so you say....
Once upon a time there was this first-time senator. He didn’t show up at his paid-for job too often because he was always running to be president. He was an attorney
He had a problem relating to his birth and refused to provide the paper work. His wife had a really high paid position to back her husband because she wanted to live in the White House too, happily ever after.
WHERE have we heard this story before? And as my friend from TX who asked me...How’s that working for us?
Do what you always did get what you’ve always got.
OH, too, there’s the Glen Beck comp to Bill Ayres.

I was too young to vote for Reagan. But I would have. He was a good President that made a few serious and long lasting mistakes. We should learn from those mistakes. Unfortunately Trump supporters are not interested in learning anything.

Why hell, I accomplish this several times a day! Guess I will get the death penalty!

His photo cracks me up every time! He’s sure big enough to hold all that hate he carries around.

I can’t imagine living life with a sole focus of hating on one person.
