If DeMint wasnt there, I would bet that some would peg him for the VP spot.
I would guess, at this point, that Kasich is going for that spot. He is waiting for Michigan and Ohio. He splits those, he postions himself just for that.
If Trump beats Kasich in Mich and Ohio, Kasich is done as far as leverage is concerned ..Trump will wipe the floor with Kasich up there ..Kasich is well liked in Ohio, but I suspect they will want to keep him there as Governor ..
Kasich is old school estab and I can’t envision a scenario where Kasich backs Trump
