Just about every poll I’ve seen over the last few days shows Cruz in 3rd, except in TX. In just a few weeks, it’s WINNER TAKE ALL time, and several states require at least 20 percent to get any delegates, which might mean that Cruz, and even Rubio might not get any delegates from these contests.
As we move north and west, look for Cruz to finish third or fourth. He is not a player any after Super Tuesday. Whatever delegates he gets will go to his “friend” Marco. Hopefully, Trump can get a majority needed to avoid a brokered convention.
Sadly, I believe that Cruz supporters around here are dreaming if they think Cruz is going to get the nomination. GOPe wants to take Rubio to the prom, and Cruz will be the wallflower.
Cruz made a big mistake providing a casual endorsement to Rubio like he did yesterday. So eager to take down Trump, he fueled the fire for Rubio...So why is Ted for the GOPe Cabana boy?
If Cruz does not win Texas next week by sizable margin and win or place second in several other states, I do not see a way for him to win.
I do not think Cruz will endorse Rubio if he drops out. I think he will do the right thing and endorse Trump.
