True, Cruz is the Interstate 35 candidate, because he has won most of the states through which the highway runs.
But that’s about all he wrote.
He is too much of a niche candidate. He has no broad appeal.
Trump on the other hand is the full-spectrum, broad-based candidate who grows the size of electorate. Trump is simply a political phenomenon.

The South was supposed to be Cruz firewall from the beginning of him getting into the race. The shock should be that Cruz lost most of the south, and it isnt because we saw the polls pointing towards Trump winning most of them weeks ago,that s the crazy part about all of this.
