The only state I can think of where Cruz is ahead was Utah. I have not seen a recent poll from there though. I do not know where Rubio is ahead.

I think there are some folks in Utah that appreciate illegal aliens for cheap labor. That and allowance for religious insanity such as islam.

True, Cruz is the Interstate 35 candidate, because he has won most of the states through which the highway runs.

But that’s about all he wrote.

He is too much of a niche candidate. He has no broad appeal.

Trump on the other hand is the full-spectrum, broad-based candidate who grows the size of electorate. Trump is simply a political phenomenon.
