HOUSTON - Wendy Ramirez wants to be a doctor. She lives with her parents on a cul-de-sac in Houston.
If a Republican wins the presidential election, she will very possibly have to go to work cleaning houses with her mother.
Ramirez, 24, arrived in the U.S. from Mexico at age 8. She is a "DREAMer": one of the unauthorized immigrants brought illegally to the U.S. as a child.
Bypassing congressional conservatives, Obama issued a unilateral order that protected from deportation DREAMers who were in high school or had graduated. He also gave them renewable two-year work permits and the ability to obtain Social Security numbers and driver's licences.
Repeal would send young people with promising white-collar careers back to the precarious under-the-table cash labour they thought they had left behind. Indistinguishable in nearly every way from the citizens they grew up with, they would again be consigned to the permanent underclass.
That is the best-case scenario for them. Worst case is deportation to a country they barely know. Houston is one of America's deportation capitals.
Ramirez is seriously researching a move to Canada.
"I love my life here. I would do anything to keep it. I'm going to fight for it until the end," she said. "But if there are no other options, I'm looking for another opportunity.

When will it be acceptable to tell Mexico to fix their own damn problems?
They can’t develop a productive economy with the drug cartels corrupting the politicians, police, and army.
(Hint: Legalizing drugs in the U.S. will do nothing to minimize the cartels influence or power.)
The children and families of American-born thieves should also get to keep the profits gained from the criminal activities. Why should the children, who never committed a crime be punished for the crimes of their parents?

I don’t even believe the politicians who talk only about walls either. I need to hear about political will to actually deport those here illegally without touchback. I also want to hear how they will track visa overstays and those violating the terms of their visa (working on a tourist visa, etc.)
Meanwhile taxpayers are shafted to pay for all of the “free” stuff these DREAMers get who get paid tax free money under the table and take American’s jobs. And to top it off they plan on reconquistaing America and have La Razan loudmouth activists shouting obscenities and shooting fingers at us while we are forced to pay for this bull$hit against our will.

For every illegal ‘dreamer’ who wants to be a doctor, there are tens of thousands of American citizens who dream of the same thing.
What makes these illegal dreamers so damn special?
Hey Wendy, do Guatemalans and Salvadorans get to be “Dreamers” in your native Mexico? We don’t know since Mexico deports any Central American crossing their southern border.
The harsh reality is that this country did not invite them, does not need them and most Americans would prefer that they go home. Of course if you are a left wing socialist you believe in the Marxist principle of One World/No Borders and absolutely abhor any nationalistic sentiments that result in securing borders or enforcing “racist” immigration laws. The choice in November is clear.
If Wendy really has the brains for medical school, she could probably claim one with or without legal status. She most certainly could claim a spot in Guadalajara and come back legally after she graduates.
Or many Libertarians and libertarian leaning "consevatives".
This doctor, along with others, like Jorge Ramos, are so willing to agitate in American political system (via the Democrat Party), I often wonder why don’t they agitate like this in Mexico, or their home country? They decry racism and the unjustness of allowing them to enter the country illegally, yet again, they do NOTHING to change the system in Mexico.
As we all know, the only reason they get away with this is because the Democrats are salivating at adding millions of constituent voters for them. Democrats will steal money from the hated White Americans to hand over to illegal immigrants with the tacit understanding that the illegals will vote for Democrats for the next 200 years, as LBJ noted.
This is the real story.
Because diversity guidelines, the rejected American med school applicant probably has MCAT scores that are more than a couple of % higher than the accepted foreign national. And THAT does not benefit the US health care consumer.
What happens to children who have parents who refuse to pay taxes, rob banks, commit other crimes...
Are we supposed to pardon their parents too because imprisonment and fines may affect the dreams of THEIR children?
Dreamers came from Obama. Yes, it means that your kids are dirt because they are racist, sexist bigoted and maybe gun clinging Bible thumping DIRT. Off to the camp with you and make room for those who DREAM.l
So.... apparently we Americans are expected to pay for the ‘dreams’ of everyone on Planet Earth.
That would be her ILLEGAL ALIEN Parents.

So do many students who are citizens.
They are the children of parents whose taxes pay for the education, Obamacare, Obamaphones and other free stuff illegals like Ramirez think is their right.
And how would she pay for med school?
She won't have to. She expects American citizens to pay for it - that's how.

The Elite in Mexico use US as a pressure relief valve as the people who are most likely to push change in Mexico are encouraged to leave Mexico for our country.
Allowing illegal immigration retards internal political change in corrupt regimes south of our border.
