It is a wasted vote. But I heard on the Radio that Rubio is doing the exact same thing. I heard it with his own voice. There is nothing dishonest about claiming a vote for the other guy is wasted. Everyone says that.

This was ANOTHER setup against Ted Cruz. So transparent.

“Looks like win at all costs Ted Cruz is up to his old tricks in Hawaii. Cruz is better than this. I expected better from a principled conservative. “

Or maybe a failing candidate is trying to smear Cruz to make excuses for his failing campaign.

Ring the bell and the dog drools.

Same old canards, I see.

Absolutely. Glad you noticed. Ted Cruz is better than these dirty tricks. Really sad a principled conservative is stooping this low to win.

Really sad. @realDonaldTrump you're better than this. We should all agree, racism is wrong, KKK is abhorrent.

Bullsht.

This is just Marco Rubio trying to do the same think to Cruz he did to him after Iowa, and there is no way that Cruz would do this twice (even on accident)..

Marco Rubio is just trying to find an excuse for losses this evening. And unless you can prove otherwise: BULLSHT!

Just like the liberals, team Trump and team Rubio want to make any campaigning by team Cruz defined as a “dirty trick.”

It is a dirty trick if you’re the one who planted a false story from “inside sources” in the press. One would think if there really were disgruntled Rubio insiders, they would be talking to more people than just CNN, and there would actually be “multiple sources”. (A lie in the Cruz email, by the way.)

Methinks Jeff Roe spotted a noob to the politics coverage scene in the ranks of CNN and is exploiting their weakness. It fits his “win at any cost” MO perfectly.

Have to say that the more I see Cruz the more of a sleaze bag elected official, lawyer he is.

All these lies and shenanigans coming form the Cruz campaign and yet again his voters will just ignore it and brush it off and then tell us how much integrity he has.

Cruz (and Heidi) seems to have some ambition issues.

My only question is, does this ruthlessness extend to the globalists and left? Or does he, in true GOPe fashion, only employ it against his "own"?

So when Trump did this on Super Tuesday against Cruz that’s ok. When he was no where near dropping out.

Rubio’s own inner circle is telling him to get out and that’s a lie.

Looks like we are voting for President of Fantasyland.

Trump lies about employing many people at a hotel in Hawaii. Looks like win at all costs Trump is up to his old tricks again.

CNN seems to be the instigator of a lot of rumors and hyperbole.

Should Cruz’ camp have vetted it further? Yes.

But again, blaming Cruz for using information that is put out there by other campaigns and/or news reports, to try and gain voters, is common and what campaigning is all about.

To call Ted a liar or paint him as sleazy for using all tactics available, and ones that EVERY campaign uses, shows the lack of integrity in those attacking him, IMO.

http://www.cnn.com/.../marco-rubio-campaign.../index.html

http://www.redstate.com/.../cnns-huge-rubio-dropping.../

CNN sucks. And Cruz should know better, not to believe one word from their lying so-called reporters.
______

Oh and the hypocrisy of Trump supporters, calling Ted a liar and a sleaze, when they completely ignore their own candidates lies and sleazy tactics, is astounding.

I saw a post here yesterday that Cruz switched ballots in Maine voting for Trump with ones voting Cruz.

Also, 12% the ballots in parts of Maine are missing.

The Gov. of Maine should investigate this since he is a Trump supporter.

Cruz will do anything to win

Rubio is desperate. CNN spreads rumors and he blames Cruz.
Is Schumer advising Rubio again?

IF saying voting for someone is a “wasted vote” is dirty tricks then all the “a vote for Cruz is a vote brokered/convention/Hillary” people on this site are all dirty tricksters for Trump.

I don’t see where as this is the same thing that occurred in Iowa to be honest.

There was a news story about Rubio’s advisers saying this yesterday.

And simply saying that a vote for Rubio is a wasted vote is an opinion, not a lie, and in this case it may well be a correct opinion.

I can’t see any way to fault Cruz in this instance.
