This is a republic, not a democracy. When the crony capitalists get together and conspire against free elections, it is wrong. It is wrong to slander, to lie,to distort, to commit fraud. What they are doing may or may not be legal, but it is still morally wrong.
It’s their money and their opinions.
They should be free to pursue them. We might believe their political aims might be evil and destructive, but they should be free to pursue them, even in a representative democracy.
