As soon as somebody says “Are you sure it was really six million?” (even though the full exact number can of course never been certified, and is open to research and discussion) you know you are at the gateway of the bad stuff. In all my years on Free Republic, having tangled with a good many rough hombres, I've never seen any who argue against, or even express skepticism about, the Holocaust of six million Jews.
So the answer is: of course six million is an estimate, and estimates vary, but as long as we're on this subject, 20 million is the estimate of non-combatants killed by Nazis in Europe, 35 million is the estimate of total Europeans killed by Hitler's war in Europe, and 75 million is the total number believed to have died worldwide from WWII.
The difference between those 75 million and the 6 million Jews was that Nazis made the Holocaust more systematic, industrial and thorough than any other killing program.

Actually, no, years ago the greatest anti-Semites in the US were, like IChing, also the greatest racists, and those were all Democrats, largely Southern Democrats.
Today the old racist Southern Democrats, aka "Dixiecrats", are politically homeless, rejected by both liberals and conservatives, they wander the internet, posting rubbish and hoping to excite some interest.
So IChing is not "right wing" in the American sense of that term, he's just an anachronism, a homeless ex-Democrat.
