Not at all. The melodies of the Beatles and their vocal talent was much more pleasing to my ear. When "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" in the 70's, I was able to embrace the music of my own culture. Still had room for Allman Bros and even Lynrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniels, George Jones, etc. And always Bob Dylan. But, that's just me.
“— So are you saying you are a fan of the Stones?—”

When they first came out the Stones were considered the kind of guys you wouldn’t let your daughter date, not like those lovable innocent four moptop Beatles.
I like most of those you mentioned as well. Not a fan of the Beatles but I was a fan of George Harrison. Bob Dylan, no way. The man cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Prince was a phenomenal guitar player and a lot of people don’t realize that. He also wrote a few good songs. I have a lot of respect for good musicians. I have 2 musicians in my house and I know the time and effort it takes.
