Kim Jong Il's former Japanese chef visits N.Korea
A former Japanese chef for the late North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il, has just ended a visit to North Korea.
Kenji Fujimoto served as the chef for the former leader for 13 years until 2001.
He arrived at an airport in Beijing from Pyongyang on Saturday after a stay of more than 10 days. Fujimoto did not disclose details about his trip which started on April 12th.
Four years ago, Fujimoto was invited by the current leader Kim Jong Un, who assumed power after his father's death, to visit the country for the first time in 11 years. He later told reporters that the young leader had said that he was welcome to visit the country whenever he wished.
It is likely that Fujimoto was invited to attend the national celebration held on April 15th to mark the birthday of the leader's late grandfather Kim Il Sung.
Attention is focused on whether Fujimoto met senior government officials, and why North Korea allowed him to visit the country.
He may end up as the main course.
Wanted his recipe for grass au gratin.
Imagine the pressure he’d be under if Dear Leader ordered him to prepare some puffer fish for dinner.
#FascistForegoesFugu
Every time one of the little riceball’s rockets goes kablooie, another Nork general gets processed into bulgogi.
No wonder he’s about to explode his uniform.
boil the grass till tender and then make a wish for the au gratin
Did he tell Kim Il Rolly Polly that he looked too thin?
WHY he want do something that stupid LOL!
This is super weird..!
That guy published a book in Japan that laid out ALL TYPES of really sensitive information about the highest leaders in NK.
That is a really huge no, no.
When this guy escaped NK he was a intel treasure trove. He went on Japanese TV numerous times, and probably also in SK.
I’d say it’s 50/50 if they kill him.
Funny thing is when he FIRST went over there to work he says he knew barely ANYTHING about NK and treated it as a run-of-the-mill cooking gig...! That really spun my head around.
At first he didn’t understand how important were the people for whom he was cooking.
I vaguely remember he married while over there, and I think he has a child so I think his return might be owing to a desire to check on their welfare.
No matter how well his visit goes I’d say it’s 50/50 if they kill him just before he’s about to return.
I’m sure they’d be really polite about it, but the again, “business is business”.
They even had plans to kill those two funny guys who made the puppet movie, “Team America”.
My sentiments exactly!
