Now that Kasich is dropping out a day after Cruz did - we can finally see who the GOPe ( and Kasich) really wanted out of the race. Cruz.

Maybe he will announce that he will Hillary’s choice for VP.

We can win Ohio without him.

Re: #19. Plausible theory. I would not be at all surprised if it turns out to be true.

LOL. Once in California, my pizza had artichoke hearts on it.

I thought it was ridiculous. Until I ate it. It was phenomenal. Huge culinary surprise.

Pro-Kasich protesters will invade the convention wielding dinner forks with pizza slices on the tines, raised on high.

Papa Murphy’s features artichoke hearts on their pizza.

Agreed.

If he were he would have never voted to give Obama fast track authority, whose only defense for it is that 'every President has been given it since FDR'.

Something I didn’t know, is that he didn’t actually vote for TPA. Did you know that? I didn’t. After reading he had over and over, I thought he had. He didn’t.

What he did do was campaign for it for months. He co-wrote an editorial supporting it with Paul Ryan that was published in the Wall Street Journal. That’s pretty high profile.

He went on radio and television to push TPA passage. Then a funny thing happened.

Just before it’s passage, he declared he could no longer support it. Nothing had changed, but all of a sudden the bill he pushed for months was something he couldn’t vote for.

Ted was a full fledged fraud.

Yes, he was taking heat from the Tea Party who had gotten him elected.

If Kasich hadn’t stayed in, we might have gotten a decent candidate.

We do have a decent candidate. But if you mean "someone other than Trump", that's a pipe dream.

I heard the same thing about Rubio, then he dropped out and - whadda ya know! - many of his voters went to Trump. That's what always happens. Most voters don't pick a candidate by running down a list of the issues and choosing whoever matches their ideas. They decide with their gut. Then when their guy drops out they choose another guy the same way. One of the most powerful influences on gut decision making is the bandwagon effect - this guy is a winner, I'll go with him.

If Kasich had dropped out when Rubio did Trump still would have been the winner, and most of his voters would have gone for Trump.

Yes, and it put a dent in his claim that he was a Conservative.

AAHHH YES; Kasich would have beat Clinton in a head to head during the general election.
And all I need to fly to the moon is to sprout wings out of my back and grow a rocket out of my ass.
Kasich was about the most boring, uninspiring, dullard in the entire pack.
Oddly enough, (you got that part right), surveys showed that Kasich would have won against Hillary.
Factually enough; surveys show whatever who writes them, want them to show.
It’s called propaganda, get a cup of coffee and wake up.

The dirtbags can rot in hell.

Yep agree on most of ‘em - - but only for another week or two...
Then we bury the hatchet.

Our focus is Hillary.
