Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 4 points nationally: poll [PPP RVs]

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton leads presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump by just 4 points nationally, according to a poll released Tuesday that showed Republicans are rallying around Mr. Trump about as much as Democrats are unifying behind Mrs. Clinton.

Mrs. Clinton led Mr. Trump by a 42 percent to 38 percent margin in the poll from the Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 4 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 2 percent.

In a head-to-head match-up, Mrs. Clinton led Mr. Trump by 6 points, 47 percent to 41 percent.

"Public Policy Polling surveyed 1,222 registered voters from May 6th to 9th. The margin of error is +/-3.2%. 80% of participants, selected through a list based sample, responded via the phone, while 20% of respondents who did not have landlines conducted the survey over the internet through an opt-in internet panel."

Now that the GOP primary is over, it’s settling in as a close race. Both very low. Trump has an easier path to get to 50 than Clinton as her negatives are baked in. The only caveat is if all those hard-core Bernie supporters jump back on board, she could get a bump. Hard to say.

Drudge headline has Trump tied with the Beast in the swing states. I predict that shortly after Trump wraps up the nomination on June 7th you will see the polls start to shift his way rapidly.

It’s also important to remember that Hitlery hasn’t really had to deal with any serious attacks so far (Slanders tried to claim that she wasn’t a true member of the Marxist cult, but nobody bought that). Once her emails, Benghazi, her liberalism, her other criminal antics, and her lack of charisma are exposed to the wider public, her numbers will continue to drop.
