I want Donald Trump to be President. I think it will be fun to watch Trump destroy Hillary for the lying criminal evil fraud that she is. For that matter, I think the Bushes are as well. It was fun to see Trump destroy Jeb and hand him a well deserved embarrassing smackdown.

The dems have the same problem the 'pubs would have had if the (now extremely unlikely) shenanigans occur. Folks in Philly will party like it's Chicago 1968 if the nomination isn't given to Bernie if hillary isn't coronated. Except for now lots of protestors are used to getting their way and besides that a lot of folks are going to be armed and dangerous.

Imagine it....a block party with Occupy Wall Street, Black Lives Matter, and Bernie supporters!

I think the Obama and the Clintons are in a classic Mexican Standoff, both with loaded and cocked pistols pointed at the other's head, metaphorically speaking. Obama has that e-mail server. Clinton has Benghazi and the arab spring and Syria. Yeah, she gets caught up in all that too but if she's going down anyway she will go scorched earth and take out Barry too.

Bottom line, neither puts down their weapon but neither pulls the trigger either. Clinton limps into the convention with everyone irate that Sanders won all the primaries but gets smoked in delegates and she comes out of the convention with the nomination she's dreamed off but battered, bruised, and with little solid support. Then Trump starts in on her.

The only way I could see this happening, and Hillary going along with it, is if something REALLY big happened in the Email Server/Clinton Foundation investigations that had both her and Bill facing multiple felonies. Then Obama calls and says, “Drop out and give Biden your full support and you and Bill get a full presidential pardon, don't and spend the rest of your days in the federal pen...”

Exactly. Polls are already showing that 15% of Sanders supporters say they will vote for Trump if Hillary's the nominee. Bump Hillary and give the nomination to someone who didn't even run and that number might explode.

It makes sense. I believe that most of Bernie's supporters aren't really dyed in the wool socialists, they're regular democrats who can't stomache the idea of a Hillary presidency. It's an anti-establishment year all the way around.
