Was he able to go? Im wondering about the outside crowd (any protestors?) since it was a closed event.
The sewers of the internets apparently just bowled today when DJT stood I front of the aluminum bales. I’m so confused...are nt we SUPPOSED to recycle because it’s good for the Erf and all, and yet the dregs of the internets ridiculed for a speech in front of “trash.”
On one of the threads i breezed thru earlier, there was oldtime video of JFK riding thru Monessen in 1962 (on the back of a big convertible). My b-I-l I’m pretty sure has 8mm film my late father in law took of JFK giving a speech (no audio) in McKeesport (there is a monument their on Lylse Blvd where he spoke). Anyways, pretty cool.
Hump Day ping!
No, he didn’t go; he knew it was not open to the public.
The local news showed a handful of rag-tag protesters (they looked like local types) but said there were no disruptions.
The Trib live tweeted the event, I think. Santorum showed up and was mingling around the crowd.
Not surprised the “sewers” of the internet would come up with snide comments about the recycled background, but I didn’t see it. The JFK footage was seriously cool.
I found you a another recipe that’ll be good to eat with friends and family while you watch Pen game’s or Steeler game’s world cup or family movie night.
