I’m convinced that as a practical matter there will be no middle ground because homosexuals demand that approval is the basically same as acceptance or tolerance.
Negative tolerance, forbearing with something that is essentially wrong because the hassle to put it down is too great or the perceived harm it slight is not an acceptable form of tolerance for many homosexuals.
Thus to accept them in any way that the social rights crowd respects is to move cast down or out that which is not embracing.
Romans 1:18-32 accurately describes this.
