Because he will get crushed in the general and we can’t afford that
Not a word of that is true. Other than that, great post.
Do you seriously think that the many millions of people who voted for Trump to be the Republican nominee BECAUSE he was a non-politician and a non-establishment type, and who have known since April that he going to be the nominee, are going to suddenly turn around and vote for an uber-establishment type like Bush or Romney? Not a chance in the world. If the Republicans nominate anyone other than Trump, this will be the most massive defeat that the Republican party has ever sustained. That would be on the heads of those who undermined the will of the millions of people who actually gave enough of a damn to vote in the Republican primaries.
Trump is, for all intents and purposes, already the nominee. There is now a choice between Clinton and Trump. No other choice is possible at this point in time. Therefore, failing to support him is nothing more and nothing less than supporting Hillary Clinton.
The primaries are over. It is time to unify behind the nominee. The establishment types who demanded that we conservatives support their moderate candidates in the past, like Dole, McCain and Romney, now have to eat their own cooking. It is their cooking for two reasons: first, because the vote for Trump was a revolt against their string of failures, as well as their lies, regarding stopping Obama. Second, because now it is their turn to hold their nose and vote for somebody that they don’t like.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If they don’t like it, and they manage to utilize some arcane rules to thwart the will of the people, then the people will stay home and their party will be destroyed.
Spoken like a true loser!
He will at least have flushed out the un-American neocon trash
