I'll agree, but it has always been just that, talk. The spending was there, but sans the actual work or improvements. Instead the money went to political payoffs as they always do with Democrats. While you are obviously intimating that Donald is a Democrat, I think you miss the reality. Donald is neither a Democrat or Republican. Besides, there is not a nickel's worth of difference between the two parties anymore.

I think Donald would carry though. At this point a few trillion more added to the debt will not hurt us anymore since we already cannot possibly pay off the debt we already have. The damage has already been done. If we in fact did rejuvenate our infrastructure then we would come out stronger. One of the most important would be to build an EMP proof electrical grid that becomes far less vulnerable to attacks. Also rebuild our military strength back up. It is a dangerous world out there and getting more dangerous by the minute.

No Paul Ryan who gave Obama everything..you have to grow your way out of debt. You think a swing voter cares about the debt?

If you just cut off spending it would cause a massive recession and he would be destroyed..you slow it down, cut taxes then reverse it

He/she doesn’t bother to comprehend the fact that Trump is talking about bonds/private investments to pay for the infrastructure improvements....UNLIKE Dims who want to raise taxes for these never ending projects to no where.
