Morning FRiends! Just a heads up to our Pennsylvania Freepers:
As many of you know, there is a bill in the Pa State Legislature - HB/SB 76 - to eliminate school/property taxes. It would have passed except for four turncoats (2 dems and 2 repubs) who changed their minds at the last minute! Imagine! No more property taxes. They would get the funds by raising the state sales tax to 7% and raising the state tax a bit more. The bill is being held back from going to the senate until they are sure they have enough votes. Check out the following websites, where you can learn all about it. And please sign the petition and spread the word to all of your Pa. friends and neighbors and on your facebook and e-mail lists!
