Former President George H.W. Bush is bucking his party's presidential nominee and plans to vote for Hillary Clinton in November, according to a member of another famous political family, the Kennedys.
Bush, 92, had intended to stay silent on the White House race between Clinton and Donald Trump, a sign in and of itself of his distaste for the GOP nominee. But his preference for the wife of his own successor, President Bill Clinton, nonetheless became known to a wider audience thanks to Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, the former Maryland lieutenant governor and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy.

On Monday, Townsend posted a picture on her Facebook page shaking hands next to the former president and this caption: "The President told me hes voting for Hillary!!
In a telephone interview, Townsend said she met with the former president in Maine earlier today, where she said he made his preference known that he was voting for a Democrat. Thats what he said, she told POLITICO. BushHillaryPic.jpg

Asked about Townsends post, George H.W. Bush spokesman Jim McGrath in an email replied, "The vote President Bush will cast as a private citizen in some 50 days will be just that: a private vote cast in some 50 days. He is not commenting on the presidential race in the interim."
George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush have stayed out of the political debate since campaigning earlier this year for their son Jeb's unsuccessful bid for president. Neither George H.W. Bush nor his son, former President George W. Bush, attended this summer's Republican National Convention in Cleveland where Trump accepted the nomination. 09_hillary_clinton_17_gty_1160.jpg

Many former GOP officials from both Bush administrations have also announced their support for Clinton over Trump, including national security adviser Brent Scowcroft and former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez.
One Bush official who has taken Trump's side is former Vice President Dan Quayle, who told POLITICO in an interview this summer he was still holding out hope both Bushes would back Trump. "Clearly in their heart of hearts I should hope they would want a Republican president, but they can speak for themselves," Quayle said in an interview in July.
GHW Bush demonized Reagan. I’m not surprised at this at all.
Wow, which dinosaur neo-con globalist will next endorse Cankles and ensure Trump’s win? Hank Paulsen? Paul Wolfowitz? Thad Cochran? Trent Lott? Bob Dole?
This election shows one thing. The battle is:
GLOBALISM vs Americanism (aka Nationalism)
Those against Trump have outed themselves as Globalists - now we know who they are. Ryan, McCain, Bill Kristol, etc. are Globalist neocons. All the Bushes are part of the globalist neocon cabal - they are not for the United States - and they will lie to you, as they have for years. Globalism is the New World Order. And Globalism is the for the destruction of our Constitution. We are betrayed and used by these demons.
For years they have waved our own flag in front of us and used our patriotism against us to establish this anti-American new world order nightmare.
LMAO!

Was Ike right?
Put the last 55+ years in the context of what he tried to warn us about... and you've got the present Industrial-strength Oligarchic-Kleptocratic fraternal L.I.F.E.R. R.E.M.F. cluster frack, operating behind an occult facade of "security".
BOHICA!
“Curse Drudge. The last thing I want to think about is Hillarys bush.”
I too am getting tired of Huma Abedin. Huma’s Weiner is hardly better.
Bump.
Great! The betrayal is complete.
Trump against the world (Dems, GOP and Media) and only supported by us, the people.
Would not have it any other way. This will draw Blacks and Hispanics who love the underdog
Humas Weiner is hardly better.
No surprise, no surprise.
All that Bohemian Grove and Skull and Bones stuff does NOT make a Christian or a conservative.
Woo! Hoo! Another Trump endorsement.
Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake.
The next time he goes skydiving, I hope his chute doesn’t open, the old bastard!
I would attribute his vote for Hillary to senility.
I’m just not going to believe something like that unless he makes a statement to that effect.
“Im just not going to believe something like that unless he makes a statement to that effect.”
Cool. Given the warm ties and mutual frottage between the two families, I won’t disbelieve it unless it is repudiated by the vile old spook who brought us Ruby Ridge.
I always thought that GHWB was forced upon Reagan by the party big-wigs. In any event, putting GHWB in as VP set the stage for the whole cascade of pathologies which followed Reagan.
The daughter of assassinated presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy posted a photo to Facebook on Monday of her posing with Bush. The President told me hes voting for Hillary!! she wrote in the caption.
Many former members of both Bush administrations have announced their intention to vote for Clinton in November, including former national security adviser Brent Scowcroft, former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
No surprise here—they admitted they vacation with the Clinton’s and W claimed he and Bill were “brothers from another mother”. They’re all POS turn-coats. Same Mafia, different families.
Correct - I remember it - they forced GHWB on Reagan’s ticket just before the convention. I was disappointed to say the least. Loved Reagan, couldn’t stand Bush.
The Bushes have been using the Reagan mantle for years while not believing in Reagan’s ideals at all.
And remember, the Globalist agenda is worth billions (possibly trillions) in crooked money - and people can be corrupted for just a few thousand dollars, imagine the power that millions of dollars has on these sociopaths.
I would think Jimmy Carter would have qualms about voting for Hillary Clinton.
